How do I resize an image online for free?
Drop your image into the tool, choose how to resize — exact pixels, a percentage or a common size like Full HD — and click Resize. The result appears with its new dimensions and a Download button. Nothing is uploaded; the resizing happens in your browser.
How do I resize without stretching or distorting the image?
Leave 'Keep aspect ratio' ticked. The image is scaled to fit inside the width and height you enter, so proportions never change. To set only one side, leave the other field empty and it is calculated automatically.
Can I resize several images at once?
Yes. Drop as many images as you like. Each one is resized with the same settings — with 'Keep aspect ratio' on, every image fits inside the target box — and you can download them all as a ZIP.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Downscaling keeps images sharp: the tool shrinks in steps with high-quality smoothing, which avoids the blur and jagged edges of a single-pass resize. Enlarging can never add detail, so tick 'Never enlarge' if you want small images left untouched.
What size should I use for social media or a website?
1920×1080 suits video thumbnails and hero images, 1200×630 is the Open Graph size for link previews, and 1080×1080 or 1080×1920 fit Instagram posts and stories. For a per-platform export, use our Social Media Image Resizer instead.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser using the canvas API, so your files never leave your device and there is no size limit.
