Drop the video

Pick a level
200% is the usual boost for a quiet voice. Normalize instead if the level jumps around.
Download the MP4

How do I make a video louder?
Drop the video in, leave the volume at 200% or drag it higher, then download the MP4. The picture is copied when the file allows it. The audio is re-encoded.
Will turning it up add noise?
Yes. A quiet voiceover gets louder, and so does the hiss behind it. Moving the mic closer on the next take still sounds better than boosting a quiet one.
What does normalize do?
It sets the track to a standard loudness instead of multiplying the current level. Use it when the voice is quiet in some parts and already loud in others. It ignores the slider.
